SEPTEMBER 2008
I must say, September was totally______!!! I never thought that my September 2008 would be as memorable and adventurous as ever in my senior year in college!
hmp..
3 - PUBLISH! EDMAN EXPO 2008
Ok.
I was assigned as the Program Head for this event….mind you people, I felt really
like an idiot the moment that this event started. The PUBLISH! was on its
second year, and so to have a good kick for this one, I must handle the show
smoothly!
So here’s the catch, since I was the assigned ‘Program Head,” I came late! I – the
HEAD OF THE PROGRAM must came in at the venue at 7 in the morning and
besides I am the one who called up the production team to be there at 7:00 am
SHARP! What had happened was really a chaos! I woke up at 8:00 – sorry but I
didn’t got the excuse of being ‘puyat’ since I got home at 5:30 from an overnight
with COM41 to finish the souvenir items and all. And besides, all throughout the
event, I felt like it was ______uhm, I was totally off! Better if I’d say nothing – can’t
find the right word for it.
And everything turns into a total chaos and I WAS THE PROGRAM HEAD! And
since the production team came from our block, obviously we’re the ones who
would look up and fixed some things and props form that event…..and another
good thing is: OUR NEWSPAPER “LASALLIAN FOCUS” WON as the “BEST
NEWSPAPER” during the defense proposal early that day – and the prize/S –
books from ANVIL…and I got the prize – the prize – the prize –
MAKING DOCUMENTARIES IN THE PHILIPPINES by ISABEL ENRIQUEZ-
KENNY.
Finally, it’s like a dream came true for me!
MAKING DOCUMENTARIES IN THE PHILIPPINES…
Never ever thought in my entire life that I will get it for free!!!
libre!
That was really a fortunate incident in my senior year!
*nice one
September 16 - 29th Manila International Book Fair
This is my first visit and the last day for the 29th Manila International Book Fair
held at SMX Convention Center. The atmosphere all over the convention was
really great – several publishing house together with their respective publications
gathered in almost 150 booths, visited by lots of book readers and “book worms”
in the country.
Actually, this is my alternative activity for I won’t be able to attend the Expo Trip
at Philippine Trade Industry on the 19th. Sad that this is my first time for this
biggest annual book fair in the country.
I promised that I’ll visit book fairs in the coming years!
And wait, I got complimentary copies of TIME, ASIA WEEKLY and a free poster
from NEWSWEEK! J
19 - TECHNICAL DRESS REHEARSAL (TDR) – “Circle of Life” by La Salle
Filipiniana Dance Company
By 5:00 – 5:10 a, nagsimula ang rehearsal. Doon ko lang napanuod ang
“wirdong” opening performance para sa “Circle of Life” na sasayawin ng La
Salle Filipiniana Dance Company.
malilimutan: Hindi n’ya natapos yung sayaw kasi bilang pumunta sa right
“sinasaniban!”…..tumitirik yung mata n’ya, umuungal tapos maya-maya
21 - ADMU takes it!
Hmmm……
My prediction: ADMU will take the championship title for UAAP 71st season..
Ok, they boldly took Game 1…sorry for us Lasallians!
Anyway, it’s just a ballgame – no personal fights either!
22 - GRAD PIC
Today is our grad pic and only one thing is in my mind yesterday until today….
I’m feeling sick! I am NOT EXCITED!
Oh God! Am I really graduating?!?
FINALLY! He responded
I can’t imagine if this is the lucky day or a sort of fortunate accident…why?
I finally had my time to view my account and see messages on my inbox – one
among those is what I am waiting for so many months – and finally – here it is!
___________ responded from my letter I sent to him last May 1.
Imagine?
I sent the letter last May 1 and he just received it last August 24 – the same day he
sent back his response via e-mail….and only today (22 September) did I view it!
I HATE THE FEELING!
Sayang!
nakapasok do’n.
Grabe!
sulat, Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administrative Services, University
isang investigative report???
25 - ADMU TOOK THE TITLE
UAAP 71st SEASON
My prediction finally bears the truth….
ADMU dominates the 71st season..
Animo La Salle!
28 - WOW!
Wow!
Parang last year lang yun nung nakita ko si Jay Masta – ang malufet na
International Breakdancer – isa sa mga naging guest sa Birthday Concert for a
Cause ni Ms. Fe – alumna ng Lasallian Pointes n’ Flexes Dance Company at ngayon ay dancer sa Deal or No Deal game show sa ABS-CBN.
Sabi nung director ng Ms. World Pageant 2007 na si Ms. Laygo, “he’s very humble.” Infairness, he really is and among the talented Pinoy hip hop dancers.
katabi sina Regine Tolentino at Douglas Nieras.
Hay! Weather weather lang ‘yan!
29 - The First and Last Show
Performing Arts. Habambuhay ko yatang matatandaan yung sinabi n’yang:
“Theatre is a discipline. Kung wala kayo no’n, hindi kayo bagay dito!”
First and last show ang nagyari para sa play naming “Puting Timamanukin”
company call yung professor namin at ayun! Bembang!
